I bought my subscription on my Apple device
If you bought your CGX subscription on an iPhone or iPad, that means you purchased it from the Apple App Store and your subscription is tied to your Apple ID.
- You can use CGX on any other iPhones or iPads that are signed in to your Apple ID
- The device itself needs to be signed in to your Apple ID
- You can’t access your CGX subscription on an Android device
To check what Apple ID your device is signed in to:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad
- Tap on your name at the name
- The email address listed there is the Apple ID that your device is signed in to

I bought my subscription on my Android device
If you bought your CGX subscription on an Android phone or tablet, that means you purchased it from the Google Play Store and your subscription is tied to your Google account.
- You can use CGX on any other Android device that is signed in to your Google account
- The device itself needs to be signed in to your Google account
- You can’t access your CGX subscription on an Apple device
To check what Google account your device is signed in to:
- Open the Settings app on your Android device
- Scroll down and tap on Google
- The email address listed there is the Google account that your device is signed in to

Can I use CGX on both Apple and Android devices?
Unfortunately, it isn’t currently possible to access your CGX subscription across both Apple and Android devices. Here’s why…
Your CGX subscription is purchased through your device’s app store. In order to access the premium content on CGX, the app needs to be able to contact your app store to confirm that you have a paid subscription.
If your subscription was purchased via the Google Play Store, but you try to use CGX on an Apple device, the app won’t be able to contact the Google Play Store to confirm that you have a subscription. Likewise, if your subscription was purchased via the Apple App Store, but you try to use CGX on an Android device, the app won’t be able to contact the Apple App Store to confirm that you have a subscription.
This is why your device needs to be signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account that you used to purchase your subscription.
How come I can log in to the app on another device, but I can’t play workouts?
You can log in to CGX on any device, but unless the app can contact your app store to confirm that you have a subscription, you won’t be able to access premium content like workouts, programs, knowledge articles, etc. Read the guidance above to see what devices you can access your CGX subscription on.
