Having trouble logging in to the app, or being asked to create a username even though you already have an account? This might be because you’re trying to log in through a different method to how you signed up.
How did you create your account?
When you created your CGX account, you had the option to sign up via Apple (iOS devices only), Google, or email & password. You’ll need to log in using the same method.
If you try to log in using a different method, the app might think you’re new and try to set up a new account for you.
Can’t remember how you created your account?
Try the ‘Continue with Email’ option:
- Open the CGX app
- Tap Log in
- Choose the Continue with Email option
- Type in your email address and password
Can’t remember your password? Tap Forgotten password to reset it.
If your credentials aren't acknowledged, let’s work through the device-specific methods below.
Apple users – verify your Apple ID:
- Open your iPhone or iPad’s Settings app
- Tap on your profile picture and name at the top
- The email listed there is your Apple ID
- Now tap Sign-In & Security
- Tap Sign in with Apple
- Look for the CGX app in that list
If the CGX app is listed here, that means you need to choose ‘Continue with Apple’ to sign in.
If the CGX app isn’t listed here, that means this wasn't how you created your account. Try the ‘Continue with Google’ option.
