How do I cancel?
On the CGX app
- Open the CGX app
- Tap on the person icon at the bottom right corner
- Now tap on the settings cog icon at the top right
- Tap Subscription
- Tap Manage Subscription
- Depending on where you bought your subscription, this will take you to the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or CGX website where you can manage your CGX subscription
- Tap Cancel Subscription
- You’ll still have access to CGX until the end of your subscription window
On the CGX website
Please note: if you try to access the CGX website on a device that has the CGX app, the website will try to open the app by default. You'll need to access the CGX website on a computer or laptop, or remove the CGX app on your mobile device.
- Log in to the CGX website
- Click on your name at the top right corner, then select Settings
- Now click into the Subscription tab
- Click Cancel subscription
- In the window that appears, click Cancel subscription
- You’ll still have access to CGX until the end of your subscription window
I'm not sure where I bought my subscription
You can find this out by checking your CGX payments in your bank statement:

The CGX charge was from Apple
You bought your subscription on the app on your iPhone or iPad

The CGX charge was from Google Play
You bought your subscription on the app on your Android phone or tablet

The CGX charge was from CGX itself
You bought your subscription on the CGX website
I bought my subscription on the app but I don't have access to my device any more. How can I cancel?
Don't worry – here's how to cancel if you don't have access to the device you originally used to buy your subscription.
I bought my subscription on the app on my iPhone or iPad
- On any computer or smartphone, head to Apple's Support site: Apple Support > Billing and Subscriptions
- Under the Cancel your subscription heading, click Start your cancellation
- Follow Apple's steps from there which will depend on the device you're using
I bought my subscription on the app on my Android phone or tablet
- On any computer or smartphone, head to the Payments & subscriptions area of the Google Play website
- Sign in to the Google account you used for your Play Store account
- You might be signed into a Google account automatically. Confirm whether this is the correct account by clicking on the profile icon at the top right corner of the page.
- Click into the Subscriptions tab
- Click Manage next to the CGX app
- In the window that appears, click Cancel subscription
If I delete my profile, does that cancel my subscription?
If you bought your subscription on the app, deleting your profile will not cancel your subscription. You will need to follow the steps above to cancel your subscription or it will auto-renew.
If you bought your subscription on the website, deleting your profile will also cancel your subscription.
If I cancel my subscription, will that delete my profile?
No, cancelling your subscription doesn’t delete your CGX profile (i.e. your workout history, progress tests, comments, etc.). If you choose to return at any point, your profile and record of past activity will still be there.
