Having trouble logging in, or being asked to create a username even though you already have a profile? This might be because you’re trying to log in in a different way to how you signed up.
How did you create your profile?
When you created your CGX profile, you had the option to sign up via Apple (iOS devices only), Google, or email & password. You need to log in using the same method. If you try to log in using a different method, CGX might think you’re new and try to set up a new profile for you.
Can’t remember how you created your profile?
Check if you used your Apple ID (Apple users only)
- Open your iPhone or iPad’s Settings app
- Tap on your profile picture and name at the top
- The email listed there is your Apple ID
- Now tap Sign-In & Security
- Tap Sign in with Apple
- Look for CGX in that list
If CGX is listed here, that means you need to choose ‘Continue with Apple’ to log in. If CGX isn’t listed here, that means this wasn't how you created your profile.
Check if you used your Google account
- Go to myaccount.google.com
- Sign in to your Google account
- On the left, click into the Security tab
- Scroll down to the Your connections to third-party apps and services area
- Look for CGX in that list
If CGX is listed here, that means you need to choose 'Continue with Google' to log in. If CGX isn't listed here, that means this wasn't how you created your profile.
Not Apple or Google?
Then you probably used your email address and a password. Choose 'Continue with email'. Tap Forgotten password? if you can't remember your password.

- Log in to your Apple account
- Click into the Sign-In & Security tab on the left
- Click the Sign In With Apple tab
- In the window that appears, Iook for CGX in that list
If CGX is listed here, that means you need to choose ‘Continue with Apple’ to sign in. If CGX isn’t listed here, that means this wasn't how you created your account.
Check if you used your Google account
- Go to myaccount.google.com
- Sign in to your Google account
- On the left, click into the Security tab
- Scroll down to the Your connections to third-party apps and services area
- Look for CGX in that list
If CGX is listed here, that means you need to choose 'Continue with Google' to sign in. If CGX isn't listed here, that means this wasn't how you created your account.
Not Apple or Google?
Then you probably used your email address and a password. Click Forgotten password if you can't remember your password.
