Can I change my payment card?

Yes, you can change the card your subscription payments are taken from. You can't change your payment card through the CGX app, so please follow the steps below depending on how you paid for your subscription.


I paid through my Apple App Store account

Your CGX payment is taken from the default payment card in your Apple App Store account. To change that, follow these steps: 

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad
  2. Tap on your name at the top
  3. Tap Payments & Shipping
  4. If you need to add a brand new payment card, tap Add Payment Method and follow the steps from there
  5. If you need to change your default payment card, tap Edit and drag your preferred payment card to the top of the list

I paid through my Google Play Store account

Your CGX payment is taken from the default payment card in your Google Play Store account. To change that, follow these steps: 

  1. Open the Google Play Store app on your device
  2. Tap on your name at the top
  3. Tap Payments and subscriptions
  4. Tap Payment methods
  5. If you need to add a brand new payment card, tap Add credit or debit card and follow the steps from there
  6. If you need to change your default payment card, tap More payment settings
  7. Under the payment method that you want to remove, tap Edit and make your changes
  8. Tap Update

I paid through the CGX website

You'll need to change your card through the CGX website. Please note: if you try to access the CGX website on a device that has the CGX app, the website will try to open the app by default. You'll need to access the CGX website on a computer or laptop, or temporarily remove the CGX app on your mobile device. 

  1. Go to the CGX website and log in to your profile
  2. Click on your name at the top right
  3. Click Settings
  4. Within Settings, click into the Subscription tab
  5. Click Change card and follow the steps from there
