Although Chromecast and AirPlay are the major players in streaming videos from an app to a TV, there are some devices that don't have these technologies. Don't worry, there are still ways to watch CGX workouts on the big screen.
Amazon Fire TV
It is possible to install a third-party app on your Amazon Fire TV which will allow you to cast or mirror videos from your mobile to your TV. We know that this option has been useful to lots of CGX members.
Roku
Most Roku devices support AirPlay so if you're using the CGX app on an iPhone or iPad, follow the steps above to AirPlay from the CGX app to your Roku.
If you're using CGX on an Android device, you might want to install a third-party app on your Roku which will allow you to cast or mirror videos from your mobile to your TV.
Smart TV that doesn't support Chromecast or AirPlay
Some smart TV brands have their own built-in mirroring feature (sometimes this is called screen sharing). Mirroring works differently to casting: rather than sending the video to your TV so it's played there instead of your mobile device, mirroring copies exactly what you see on your mobile device to your TV. It means you can't use your mobile device for other things at the same time.
Read through your TV's instruction manual to see if it has its own mirroring or screen sharing feature. If it does, follow the guides here to see how to mirror from your mobile device to your TV:
