We're happy to report that our Engineers have resolved this! To access the fix, you'll need to update your CGX app to the latest version which is v1.25.1:
- Open the Google Play Store app
- Search "CGX"
- Tap into CGX in the results
- Tap Update (if you don't see the option to update, that means the app has already updated automatically to this latest version)
If your Android device runs on Android 17, you will be shown a pop-up window asking for your permission before you can cast from CGX. Tap Allow and you're all set.

Quite a few people have let us know that it isn't currently possible to cast from CGX to their TV. This is happening if you're using CGX on an Android device.
Some people have let us know that the TV device isn't appearing at all on the list of devices to cast to. Others have told us that, when they do cast to the TV, only the audio will play and not the video.
Our Engineers are looking into this as a priority and we'll update this page as soon as there's an update for you. In the meantime, you may wish to try mirroring your Android device's screen to your TV instead: How to mirror your screen on Android.
