We've heard from a small number of people who are seeing this error message when trying to cast a CGX workout: "Can't play video while mirroring sound to Wi-Fi speaker." This is only happening if you're using CGX on a Samsung phone or tablet running Android 17.
This is a bug with Chromecast which Google are working to resolve. In the meantime, here's how to continue casting as normal from CGX:
- Update your CGX app to the latest version (v1.29.1) through the Google Play Store
- Back on CGX, tap on the person icon at the bottom
- Now tap on the settings cog icon at the top right
- Tap into Preferences
- Switch on 'Legacy casting'
- Now try casting again
