Start a workout immediately
Dive into a workout immediately by tapping the Let’s go! button.
Choose a date to complete a workout
You can schedule a time in your CGX calendar to complete the workout. To do this:
- Tap the calendar icon
- Pick a date that works for you on the calendar screen
- Select your preferred starting time
- Tap Done
Add a note to a workout
You have the option to add your own notes to a workout. For example, you may wish to note which weights you prefer to use for a specific workout to make setting up for it easier in future. Your notes cannot be seen by other community members and you are welcome to use this space in whatever way is most helpful for you.
Recommended skill level
Each workout provides a recommended skill level to give you an indication of whether it is appropriate for where you are in your fitness journey. Workouts can be marked as suitable for beginners, intermediate / advanced for those who are at that level, or both if suitable for any skill level.
Types of exercise
Each workout provides a list of exercise types to help you understand what sort of activities it will contain. This includes cardio / HIIT, mobility and stretching, warm-ups, and strength.
Muscle groups used
Each workout provides a list of the muscle groups used during the exercises. Workouts can focus on the following muscle groups:
- Posterior chain
- Full body
- Lower body
- Upper body
- Shoulders
- Chest
- Back
- Arms
- Legs
- Quads
- Hamstring
- Glutes
- Calves
- Abs and core
Equipment needed
Each workout indicates what, if any, equipment will be needed to complete the included exercises:
People who participated
Each workout shows a list of CGX community members who have participated in the workout. When you complete the workout, your name will be added to this list!
Leave a comment
At the bottom, you’ll find the Comment area. Here you can read thoughts and reflections left by other community members about a particular workout.
Swipe to the left to read comments in sequence, or tap Write a comment to see the comment thread in full. From this screen you can also write your own comment. We encourage you to leave thoughtful feedback and advice that will help other members of the CGX community on their own fitness journeys! When posting, please keep our community standards in mind.

To add a workout to your favourites, tap the heart icon at the top right corner. Workouts added to your favourites will be displayed in the Home area for easy access.
